Ronn's Loving Lamb (Whole story)

Ronn was returning home from school with some fresh leaves for his pet lamb, Ben. After the long journey from school to home, he reached home and was welcomed by his mother. As Ronn came inside he started calling Ben, “Ben, where are you. I have got some freshly plucked leaves from Mr. Jones’s garden. Come on now!” He kept on saying and looking for his pet, but Ben was nowhere to be found. He asked his mother about where Ben was and she said, “Oh! I have sold him to the butcher to buy food for you.

Ronn just dropped his bag and ran to the butcher’s to get Ben. He found him tied to one of the legs of a table. Ben asked the butcher,” Can I have that lamb please?” The butcher asked for money to give the lamb. Ronn was a poor boy he got in a fix of how to get Ben.

He thought and a fabulous idea came to his mind. He started working for the butcher. Ronn started sweeping, cleaning and scrubbing the floor. He also started fetching things for the butcher. Every time when he saw Ben he said,” Don’t worry friend, I will for sure save you.” Soon the time to give the lamb to Ronn came. The butcher was quite pleased with Ronn’s hard work and as he kept his promise, he gave Ben to Ronn and Ronn was thankful to the butcher and went home happily with Ben.
