Touch the sky with glory" sounded all around the Deesa airbase of the Indian Air Force. This base was established to provide defence against the Indo-Pak border. Hal Tejas spread throughout the base with its magnificent wings. Flying officers were on their daily training.

A flying officer shouted to a man, "Hey mate! Captain is calling you to inform me of something." He rushed to the cabin of his captain. Ruthra Prathap Singh, the captain of the base, commands his squadron. He insisted the man take charge as wing commander as a larger number of officers have been assigned to the Deesa airbase for a counterattack that will take place in a few days.

The man asked for the reason for the attack, and the captain explained that, with the help of a spy,it is said that the enemies considered Deesa Airbase a weakness because it was built in the recent past, so they planned an attack with Dassault Rafale jets for complete destruction. He ordered him to take over as wing commander from the squadron leader. He agreed, signed the papers for his operation, and pledged to take control of his entire wing.

He came out of the cabin with a heavy job for tackling the attack, which will be soon. His flying mates ran towards him and hugged and cheered for his advancement as a wing commander. Also, they were happy because the base was going to be renewed with Dassault Rafale jets for the operation.

The whole wing, consisting of two squadrons and helicopter units with their captain, arrived the next day. A man from a distance arrived towards the whole wing, where the whole wing shouted, "Salute to the wing commander, Samir Patil!" The man introduced himself as Samir Patil.

Each and every squadron was prepared for their counterattack with their Dassault Rafale and Hal Tejas. Samir believed that even if the attack didn't take place, it was their duty to prepare for a counterattack as their base is just 130 kilometres from the enemy. Days passed and no attack took place; instead, shocking news haunted the captain: the strike of air force officers against the government.

A group of fighter pilots from a base have been striking over a salary issue and have decided to quit the air force service.Samir believed that something was wrong with the news and decided to take charge of the particular base, but he was refused by the captain, who said that his job as a wing commander was not fulfilled and insisted him to do his job. Samir thought that something bad was going to happen, as the strike of the officers didn't seem natural to him.
