Before And After

A rainy day in the Russian capital, Moscow A pale man was sitting on a bench near the Moskva River. He looked like a wise man who had a lot of bitter experiences in his life. It was a hard rain, and he wasn't concerned about it and was thinking about something else. There comes a man with a rugged look—a face that depicts an angry lion—on his way towards his destination, where he sees the pale man whose name is Andres. He was in a rage, but he was stopped by something that attracted him towards Andres. He lent his umbrella to Andres to save himself from the heavy rain. Andres hesitated and asked what his name was. He answered that his name was Samuel.

He smiled at Samuel and told him to mind his own business, as he himself was not concerned about the rain. Andres was asked what his problem was, and he replied that once he had problems, but after so many years he had none, but his life was not meaningful and he was ready to give up his life. Samuel chilled for a moment, and he understood that the wise man had something in his past life. He felt comfortable sitting near Andrés. He asked what he was doing with his life and inquired about his past. Andres fingered him and slapped him in the face.

Samuel got a chill and said that he was on his way to kill his wife, but something had stopped him, and that was Andres. Andres got shocked and asked whether he was lying, and Samuel admitted that he was true about killing his wife because she had an illegal affair. Andres sobbed for a second and said that life is so unpredictable. Sam asked why it was, and he answered that he had faced the same situation in his early 30s. Sam got curious to know about his past, and Andres asked him to wait for his decision after hearing his story. He agreed to the agreement.

Andres continued that he had a beautiful family 20 years ago, but it was shattered after his job as a bank assistant got fired. He had two beautiful young girls, and they were so fond of him. He managed to make them happy with some of the part-time jobs, but they were not permanent. He managed to get a job at a construction site with a good salary. One day after his work, he decided to go to his home early, where he saw his wife making a move on his unmarried brother. His heart was shattered. His temper got peaked; he never hesitated, and he killed both of them with his construction shovel.

He never listened to their words and only focused on killing those two idiots. His children came home from school and saw their father killing their mother and uncle. They both screamed and decided to give up their lives as their father is a murderer and they had lost their mother. They both fell from their house terrace. Andres tried to stop them, but they lost them, and those young souls left the world. He was accused of life imprisonment but got released after 20 years of hell. He concluded that, even though he didn't know how his wife and brother were going to convince him, because of his anger and because they had cheated him, he had killed them but unfortunately lost his two daughters.

He asked whether Sam had children. Sam, in frustration, says he has a boy child. Andres concluded that it was his wish to kill his own family and said that because of the anger issues, even though it was true sometimes, it was dangerous to the lives of our children. They will finish their lives, live their lives as hell, or become psychopaths in this society. He advised him to think of his son before killing his wife. Sam got to his feet and said that he would take custody of his own son and get a divorce from his wife. Andres smiled and said that sometimes life gives us unexpected meetings with unexpected people, which will give us some sort of clarity of mind.

Samuel, with a happy face, thanks Andres, says it was an unexpected pleasure meeting him, and concludes that he will meet him someday at the address given by Andres. He made his way towards his home to see his son. As he approached, he saw his wife having sex with a stranger, and he reminded him of the story of Andres and cried in his heart. He rushed his way towards his son's room where he was sleeping, grabbed him in his arms, and silently left the home as he wanted his son to grow in a good place even without a mother's love. After a few meters, he hears a gunshot. He rushes inside his house and sees his wife and the stranger, who has been shot dead.

The man holding the gun was none other than Andrés. He told Samuel that he had forgotten that he had no plans for his life and even no family. He started to weep as he considered Samuel his own son after listening to his story. As Sam rushed to see his son, he dropped his wallet on the way. Andres followed him to deliver his wallet and also to see his son, where he saw his wife doing the same thing that his wife had done to him. He was amazed by the action of Samuel, and as he was concerned about his son, he (Andres) decided to kill the unworthy lady. Andres wept and asked Sam whether he would forgive him for killing his wife. Sam told him that forgiveness is only for people who have the right to get forgiven, as his wife was not worth it.

The scene ended with Andres getting arrested by the police. At last, he touched the face of Samuel's son and asked what his name was, and Sam, in an eye of tears, replied that his name was also Andrés. Andres realised that his life got sick because of the plans of God, but later he understood that he had been given another family, Sam and his son. Andres finishes his words before getting off the jeep. He says that he (Andres) was unlucky in his life, but he (Sam's son) was lucky as he got a good father who will not be misguided and will not have an addiction to the taste of women.
