Once upon a time. A man named Gopal was traveling on a ship but unfortunately, it sank. Gopal saved himself with the help of a wooden log. When he reached the shore, he thought that the log saved his life, and hence it was an incarnation of God. He decided that he would carry it to his house and worship it. So he started walking towards the city with the log on his back.

After walking a few minutes, he started panting. He was sweating, his back was aching. He thought he should keep the log down and rest for a while but as he was about to put it down, another thought struck his mind. That log was the incarnation of God, how could he keep God on the ground. It would be disrespectful. So he started walking again or better say crawling.

He had just crawled for a few minutes with the log on his back when he saw a monk in the middle of the road. He asked him to get aside. They were curious.

"Why are you carrying this log? where are you taking it?" the monk asked.

"It saved my life. It's an incarnation of God. I'm taking it home and worship it every day." Gopal replied.

"So, the log is an incarnation of God since it saved your life but now, there is no way you will make it alive to your home with this log on your back. Will you still call it God?" the monk said.

Gopal was shocked to see the other side. That monk was Mahatma Buddha.
