A Miser

Tendency to save more without taking the risk of consolidating lifestyle is what a miser meant to be. Humour is always there whenever we come across a miser. While visiting my aunt's place last week, I have also got the opportunity to meet one among hundredth miser. I'm not talking about stranger whom I met in the road, unfortunate enough to declare his identity as my brother-in-law, a kind of miser whom I never like to meet again.

My aunt is fortunate enough for having him as her son-in-law, a person with all accustomed qualities, but not so fortunate when financially she needs him. He loves to come along with his wife at her place and enjoy his staying there, lying in the bed all day long, while his mother-in-law takes all the pain to bear their expense.

He has two sons, one between 8-9 years and other between 2-3 years. Both rejoicing their mastery over mischief and lying. They are making my stay over there for couple of days really impossible. So, I have to decide to take leave without further extending my days of stay. My brother-in-law suddenly declares he will accompany me in half of my journey for he has some urgent work to accomplish. I agree for I have no option left. My brother (Aunt's Son) has come to the station with us, and there my brother-in-law suddenly declares that he needs to buy something for his younger son. For sometime he keeps on looking here and there and then gets the glimpse of oranges. He goes over there and ask for an orange. It costs him five rupees. Then suddenly he remembers about his elder son and therefore he likely to proceed to buy another orange. When he looks for another five rupees coin in his pocket, he finds fifty, hundred and five hundred rupees notes. Hence, he cancels his plan of buying another orange for his elder son and tells his brother-in-law (Aunt's Son), "Do suggest your sister to manage it (an orange) in between two."
