A Materialistic World

A Materialistic World

As you "show" so shall you reap. In other words, as you display and exhibit your "assets" so shall you reap the benefits of the world. In fact, the more you "show off", the more you reap the benefits and dividends of the materialistic world.

If you are talented, you need to show off or display your talent. If you are handsome or beautiful, you need to exhibit your body or physical strengths. If you are rich, you need to display your wealth in order to become stinking rich. If you are powerful, you need to boast about your power and display your arrogance in order to receive kickbacks. If you are intelligent, you need to exhibit your intellectual traits. If you are a successful entrepreneur, you need to advertise your skills and products to profit further.

The only ones who are left out are "ignorants" and "simpletons" like me. The only thing that is not displayed or exhibited is our misplaced or so-called "ignorance". We are total "misfits" in the world of showbiz and materialism.

It is time for us to wake up and understand the ground situation and ground realities of the materialistic world. It is time to talk like the majority and walk with the majority so as to get noticed and counted.

There was a time when humility & modesty were regarded or considered as man's virtues and real assets. In today's digital age and materialistic world, humility & modesty are regarded as weaknesses of an individual and are viewed with suspicion and skepticism.

The more you conceal your talent, skills, ingenuity, and physical assets, the more you are likely to end up as a total failure in the competitive world.

The more you "show" or "show off" your strengths and abilities, the more you get rewarded, recognized and accepted. This is the undeniable truth that is prevailing now.
