I remember the day where I escaped from the place said, Sindhubath. That one night made me insane. Why have I escaped? What made me escape? Why has it troubled me so much? A lot of unanswered questions from Sindhubath. He can't eat his own food because he killed a person. Tears slowly flowed in his eyes.

Then he recalled his past, which had happened some months ago. Sindhubath, an energetic man, works in a transport agency as a truck driver. He drives from Bengaluru to many parts of the country for carrying goods. He was an uneducated fellow because his parents were so poor. He also had two younger sisters, so he sacrificed his studies to educate her sisters.

He worked in the transportation service for many years, starting in his teens, for money. His mother died in his adulthood, and his father left them and went somewhere. He worked hard and earned as much as good for his sister's marriage. He, as a responsible family man, managed to settle his two sisters. But he did not do marriage, even though his age surpassed 30.

He decided to live his life for fulfilling his sister's needs and to enjoy the rest of the life as a single man. He got a big order from his company to carry goods to Kolkata. He started his journey, and it went smoothly. After crossing the Odisha border on the night, in a forest route, he was surrounded by a group of people, and they made him faint with some chemicals. After he woke up, he was surrounded by the same group of people in a forest.

He tried to escape but he couldn't. They seemed to be a group of 3 goons. He asked them to leave his truck, and he offered them some money. They refused, and they asked him his truck. He refused and started shouting. They severely beat him and warned him to take them through his truck to the West Bengal border without the suspect of police; otherwise, they would kill him. He hesitated first, but they seemed to kill him, so he agreed to take them.

He decided not to continue his way via the highway because of the policy control. So he decided to take another route to Kolkata. He continued his journey with fear. He felt something was wrong with the person, so at midnight, while they were sleeping, he left the truck in a place and started running. On his way, he saw a small village. He decided to seek help from the villagers.

He managed to get a mobile from a villager, and he made a call to the police and told them the information. Even though he had a language problem, he managed to tell what had happened to him. The goons, in anger, started to search for him. They searched him in the village. Sindhubath, in a nervous state, managed to hide in a place. But he was caught by a villager who told them his presence in favor of money.

The goons caught him red-handed and forced him to take the truck. He pleaded with the villagers for help, but none came forward. As he was forced, he took the truck and started his journey. On close to the border, he was caught by the police officers, he informed. The goons started to shoot the police officers with the guns, and Sindhubath, in a horror state, got tensed.

As they were close to the border, they decided to go on their own, and they decided to kill Sindhubath. He is in a haunted state. He took one of the guns from a dead police officer before and said to them that he would shoot them. They laughed at him, and one of the goons pointed his gun towards where Sindhubath shoots at him. A group of police officers came there, and the remaining goons managed to escape. Sindhubath cried a lot because he killed a person.

The police officers investigated Sindhubath, and he told the whole story. He came to know that they were one of the murderer groups the team was searching for. He was released because of his innocence and killed a criminal for his safety. Then the story ends where Sindhubath wipes down his tears because he was such a good soul from his childhood. So he was sad for killing a person.

I will not forget this journey of terror, said Sindhubath.
