A Girl's Diary - The Delusional Relief
A Girl's Diary - The Delusional Relief
Hello, Mam!! We have to join today here, she told the names and introduced herself, a middle-aged South-Indian woman replied formally, "Yeah! I know, welcome to Mumbai, how's your stay? Is the hotel fine?", to which she wanted to reply that temporary things are always attractive but what she was apprehensive about is the permanent roof, but she smiled widely and nodded a big yes. The day went on, she completed the joining formalities on paper and off the paper and was about to sip a coffee when her new manager entered the office, she was familiar with the face and the personality based on an earlier interaction, and she waited for him to get settled in his cubicle and then left her half-sipped cup near the coffee machine and asked her roommate to come and meet him, they both went to him and he welcomed them warmly. They had a long discussion regarding the roles and responsibilities, families, habits and whatever they could talk about, in the end, he explained to them Mumbai in one simple sentence, "THIS IS MUMBAI, BOTH BUILDING AND PEOPLE GROW VERTICALLY", she took this to her heart and came out of his cabin completely pumped-up to conquer, for a moment she even forgot that she was struggling with the house search and her other problems, but the moment she came out after five minutes she went back to her manager and peeped from the door, her upper half in the cubicle, her manager asking yeah tell me what happened, to which she said that it would be a great help if something can be done about the accommodation, at the very instant, the manager called her inside and asked about the situation, she explained everything she had experienced in recent days. He assured her he would help her in any way possible to find suitable accommodation and till then they could continue their stay in the Hotel by company. Her eyes lit up with trust and she got relaxed that there was one door of help at least which was there. Her manager chilled her out and took the team out on lunch. The day ended but it had given hope and trust to both the girls that they would not be left alone.
