A Girl's Diary- There Is No Place For Me Here

The dawn broke and she opened her eyes with new hope, all she had in her mind was just to get a place to live for herself and her about to come Telugu roommate, they lived in Bangalore together and had an average bonding but now her love was not there and she had to live with her so-called earlier abandoned roommate in Mumbai, she stepped out again out of the hotel in search of accommodation and started from the scratch, she met people, brokers, owners or anyone who gave her hope that there might be a place to accommodate her and her roommate, it was 2:00 PM and she got nothing in her hand, she was already depressed again and thought that she might not be able to do this by herself and maybe there is no place for her in this city. But the only issue that she was not aware of was that she had a way high expectation from Mumbai as per her pocket.

Always in habit of living in big spaces in a small town had shadowed her thinking with the expectations of the same living style, but she did not know that here it was going to be a small space in a big city and the definition of the small would go way beyond her imagination. Well, another day ended and she again had nothing in her hand not even an idea what she is going to do once she joins the office as even looking for the whole day is not sufficient how she will workout this thing by just looking in the evening, She was about to leave for dinner when her hotel room bell rang and a bell boy brought a big black suitcase into the room, behind that her roommate was there smiling with a somewhat warm expression. She felt a little bit relieved that at least she has now another human being with the same mental faculty who is also in need of accommodation. 

She closed the room and her roommate settled up a little bit, they had basic chitchat and then the roommate picked up on the pain point of accommodation to which she replied that they will have this discussion post-dinner once they are back in the room as she did not want to get herself upset again. They went for dinner and discussed the normal joining formalities and the colleagues as the joining was due the next day, what clothes they will wear, who they know in the office, exchange of contact numbers of the colleagues, etc. They finished their dinner and headed back to the room. The roommate closed the door and directly jumped to the status-quo of the accommodation. She explained the situation and her experience of the last two days. Her roommate was a bit sensitive and she got worried about the same but they had no choice, they had to go through it anyhow, they decided to join the office tomorrow and seek the help of the colleagues if possible. The lights were switched off but the eyes remained open for a long time and eventually, they also closed themselves after a constant fight with the brain.

Sunrays entered the room in a bright manner indicating that it was late on the joining day and now it's high time to leave the bed and rush like a Mumbaikar. She woke up her roommate and went to take bath in rush, they both got ready in hurry, laughing a bit at themselves, and then decided to have a good breakfast at least because they are already late so better do it right. They had a good breakfast and then they left for the office, they crossed the road and there it is a big glass tower having a floor registered to their company, they entered the building bit nervous and excited at the same time and looked for the address of their company.
