World of Machines

World of Machines

Down from nowhere do we come across

A world that is monitored and controlled by all

Where the human mind

Creates a space to be

Of gadgets and gizmos and shuttles

That drives the world as it should be.

Traveling in search of a place

To somewhere you see

A new planet to live in peace

Where the brains work

But not the body or soul

Where the robots control life as a whole.

The world seemed flat

Sharp turns and bends

No softness to be found

Wherever it ends.

Where the warmth will turn cold

Where the lights switched on

Where ice will fall as rain

Which will freeze what moves along.

A world where the air

Will be cleaner they say

Where gases don't evaporate

To bring down the rain

Where the day will be brighter

Than the sun they say

With lights brightening up

But no warmth of its rays.

I dread a world

Somewhere in space

With no one to look around

Just machines taking place.
