Walk Me To The Grave

Walk Me To The Grave

Darling,

Walk me to the grave

I remember the day we met

Amidst the shattered pieces of fate

You eyes sparking a mysterious blue

Like a deep ocean hue

There was an odd solace

When you engulfed me in your embrace

I had been so lonely without you

You came and made me feel brand new

The long drive we took

It all looked as if right out of a fairytale book

We danced

We sang...

It was tiresome to see so much blood all around

For once your deep eyes had me bound

You calmed me

But nothing could you see

Took my hand and kissed it

Yo

u didn' t even notice the dagger below it

My eyes too revealed nothing

Cause' for me you were something

Mysterious yet alluring

Then alas!

You left me

You hated the real me

For you, I was just sapphires and diamonds

Hiding behind velvet curtains

An image etched on your mind

The sight of me with red hands shocked you

Oh dear, did you think I was weak?

Innocent and sweet?

You walked out on me

Don't worry

And I am truly sorry

But now you cannot leave me

Ever, believe me

Cause' till death do us part

And then you can walk me to the grave.
