Unusual - Love in the Air
Unusual - Love in the Air
It's crazy how did I arrive here,
Sat in the balcony to find that air,
I played some songs,
Ek tara was my jam,
She was beside me,
Just staring at her phone,
Eyes glued,
I was side glancing her moves,
Isn't it crazy,
Wishing the time to stay,
Two chairs and a blanket to share,
A cup of coffee, four hands warming the wind,
The shadows looked one,
On th wall in front of eyes,
The tilting moon and
Her hair in a bun,
A couple of years ago, I was alone desperately hoping for a love story,
I had high hopes,
I wanted an epic tale,
Doesn't feel like I want that now,
I hoped to make a grand proposal,
That wasn't needed anymore,
This saga was different, more of an ordinary phase,
Our silence discusses a lot,
Our glances make grand gestures,
Our intimacy isn't just restricted to the bedroom paintings,
The bed isn't cold anymore,
The couch feels like a happy place,
There is no loneliness when I watch television,
Songs make more sense,
The dressing table looks perfect,
Aesthetic windows decked up,
The fairy lights brighten the night.
The kitchen is alive,
The walls have the most vibrant colors,
I was one shore, empty filled with sand,
She has brought the waves and has become my ocean,
I am in peace,
Surprisingly
That's not how imagined the present,
The distance of life seems fair,
Maybe it's just love in the air.
