Unaccepted The Unexpected

Long have said and heard,

'Ebb and flow part life',

But experienced it now.

When life bends right,

Brings in something you never 

thought of,

Get you into something you

might just dreamt of,

Leaves you in bliss all the way round,

It feels divine.

But, when life takes a roundabout,

You experience a roller coaster,

And end up in pain, not smiles.

Never thought life would swerve such,

And land me where I couldn't stand.

Where glee lived in me aback,

And now lives despair,

A scar, which won't recoup till 

things ensconce normal.

Stood at a point where nothing 

could assist,

Couldn't be soothed nor understood,

Gave up for what life denied to,

Stood, stood still,

Smiled, smiled subdued,

Laughed, laughed in woe,

Sobbed, sobbed in dark,

But still..

Thought, thought about you,

Prayed, prayed with verity,

And loved, loved whole-heartedly,

Yet declined what life didn't want me to.
