This is not done.

You toy me with me when it's your time to have fun,

But when I need you, you simply just run.

Let me tell you dear this is not done.

You had Me roaming around alone in the nights,

With you on the phone and just dim street lights.

Those were the days when we had lots of talks.

I would have completed a marathon if I had measured those walks.

There were days when you wanted me to chat,

And I am not lying when I say I too enjoyed that!

But now you have vanished and all the chats and talks are gone

All that is left are my futile attempts to keep the communication on.

I tried to strike a chord but all is in vain,

The uncertainty of your attention is like the bloody rain.

Sometimes it pours so heavily that I overflow my pot.

Then there are times when there is a complete draught.

Well I guess you have changed just like everyone does.

And I miss the old you but I think I am trying to board the wrong bus.

Let's keep it that way if that's your choice,

Memories of good times are enough for me to rejoice.

I still remember the time when you said I mattered,

Gone are those times and the bond is shattered.

It's funny how humans go from strangers to friends and from friends to strangers again.

But life goes on and good times don't always remain.
