Thirst and Wetness
Thirst and Wetness
Thirsty soul looks for a little wetness,
Undesirable feeling due to heat,
My I take the juice of my own madness,
As my clothes are totally drenched by sweat,
Lust of my flesh bring me to bitterness,
Over sweetness may have spoiled the spirit,
Going to nowhere, so I bend my knees.
There's an overflowing moist from up high,
Unfortunately my throat is denied,
May I sip a little dew of my cry,
As thirst of mine has no more place to hide,
Love of the One will never ever dry,
Only Her, no one else, by my side,
Guiding my soul to fly beyond the sky.
