The Tale Of The Faraway Magic land

Once long ago,

When I was a child,

I remember reading Enid Blyton

With her charms of fairies and faeries,

Goblins and pixies.

Then the tea parties came,

And the tales of Faraway Lands,

But oh!

How can I forget,

The Mystery Hunters,

And their fascination.

Those were the days,

When fantasy had a simple way,

Of coming into our dreams,

And take us places in our dreams,

With the lands of ice-cream,

And the houses of cake,

With doors of candy,

Bringing joy in their wake.

But then what happened!

Alas! We grew up,

And found ourselves,

In the mid of reality.

But I still do every once in a while,

Take a peek,

A wee little look around,

For the world Of Fantasy.

And try to find a door,

Which will take me,

To the Magical Faraway Land.
