A good history is written by the victor

An eon of defeats bought by his foes

But on one fine day his fortune changes

Upon the thousand defeats he had

Now he is the champion of the war

 

All his life was in turmoil and struggles

Fighting- for each grain had to be earned

But now his name feeds him, his luxury

The spoils he has is beyond comprehension

As the people fed him beyond his deserves

 

So, will he change for good or bad

As fame and power can corrupt

Nothing will change if he stays humble

But what if he gets corrupted

Will he be his own demise?
