Abstract

Loss

Loss

1 min 644 1 min 644

I look for solace

In rhymes

Of the wind chimes

Hymns rising from the temple

Echo and reminds

Of the hours

I had prayed

Asked the Gods for a deal

Yet the fate was resting in a seal

I wander

Wish to be struck by the thunder

In torrential rain

Nothing eases my pain

Even tired feet

Can't date the slumber

On the dark nights of November

Time and Time again

I try to forget in vain

It was just yesterday

When I used to bend

To touch the feet

And two pairs of hands

Used to bless

Now every morning

As the sun peeps in

Through the window

I wake up

And I weep

But only a pair of hands

Wipes my tears away

The darkness in my life

And the sadness in my heart

Will end only at the last beat
