Twin Lights

Two bright lights,

Of my eyes,

I wish not the times,

Before your time.

    The day I knew,

    Of your being my part,

    Was the best day,

    Of my entire life not just a part.

I never planned the days ahead,

But you never left my head,

With your movements,

Gentle and not so very,

You reminded me of your being there.

    Now,

    I can see you,

    And feel you,

    By my side.

But,

I can just not wait,

In you to confide,

To make you my friends,

Not just the two little specks,

But a beacon of my life.  

     To be my pillar

     At my lowest,

     To be my support,

     At my highest.

But,

For now,

You are my two little lights,

The line of my life,

The best I could get from life.

     Forever yours.
