The Question

The Question

A fire, whose blaze would not heat

It is useless in a device.

A heart, that would not love

It is just a pulsing stone.

A question, when not answered

Turns a mutinous line.

What is seen is always seen

What is unseen is a shadow thrown.

To just see the light, and see it taken away,

Or ignore the brightness, to rejoice in the night...

That is the question.

Is it better to be blind,

Than to be cursed by darkness?
