The Callings From The Sea
The Callings From The Sea
I come home.
As the sea calls me and the land bemoans
When the moon is at her highest,
And is swiftly dressing the shores.
There the rocks gaze mightily aboard,
Over them, the moaning wind stills
As I climb atop the grassy cliffs
And stare afar, where the waters touch the sky.
There the stars, the planets,
The entire cosmos surrounds me,
As I become one of them,
Revelling in this heaven's scenery.
When the sea itself calls for me,
With a song, it sang to many a man
But the lyrics never grew old.
The song engulfs me, in a bosom so full of love,
And with a childish delight, I run towards it
As the sea calls me and embraces my soul,
I am home at last
