The Prison of Dark

Bound by chains,

I suffer and suffer.

Each effort of struggle in vain.

Chains of truth,

Chains of the past,

Chains of betrayal,

Dragging and pulling me down,

In the Prison of Dark.

I long for light,

Even if for a while.

I long for memories,

But only questions flash in my mind.

Who am I?

Why am I here?

Why? What? Where?

I can’t bear the silence,

It drives me mad.

So, I scream,

But, nothing,

Nothing comes out,

Not even a whisper.

I long for love,

But my broken heart,

Can never heal.

So, I wait and wait,

For the day I will be free,

Free from these chains,

And the Prison of Dark.
