A Friend

A friend is worth,

More than any gold.

A friend is what one needs,

To make a story, untold.

In any of your misdeeds,

A friend, will be your partner in crime.

Be it your old age or prime,

Friendship never ages a single day, any time!

A friend will laugh,

Even when your joke’s not funny.

And even eat your birthday cake,

On your behalf.

You would fight like Tom and Jerry.

But, having a friend

Is like icing and cherry.

A friend a day,

Can keep boredom at bay.

Well, that’s what I say!

So, never let them get away,

Because, a friend can always make your day!
