The Performance

If I could just fly high

just touch the rainbow

And walk along the arch

If every color of it played a note

To sing the song of my heart.

The birds would sing along and dance

The clouds could play the beat

The sun could just brighten up

The stage with its lighting.

The music would spread everywhere

The chorus heard across

As I kept tapping my feet

Turn by turn on the vibgyor.

At times the raindrops would bring in

The little rhythm to what I played

The entire sky would echo

The music for the day.

How wonderful it would be

To hear the music as you rise

How wonderful it would be

To dance to the tune played in the sky.

The song would keep playing

The birds would join into dance

What a lovely sight it would be

To see everyone, take part.
