Dear Mr. Easter Bunny
Dear Mr. Easter Bunny

Dear Mr. Easter Bunny
I just had to write you on this Easter Day...
So that maybe I could see
Just if you are truly real
I was wandering, if, by chance,
You happen to stop in Heaven...
But if not, if you could do so this year
As you hop along your way?
You see...A big part of me is up there,
That I miss so much with all of my heart...
An Un-named twin did not get his chance to fight
And it has completely tore my life apart.
So I was simply wanting to know
If you could maybe try to go up there?
And if I could ask just one last
small personal favor from you?
Could you take them both
A basket up to heaven?
Filled with different colored eggs
And maybe a couple of bunnies, too.
And could you please
Add a green egg for me?
Because my dad once told me
That green means new life and rest
So a green egg for my dad
And both of the boys
Who are now resting in heaven..
No more pain and no more tests.
And could you add
An orange egg for me?
Orange for the color of a candles flame,
For t
heir light will surely always shine,
Even though, our lives will never
be quite the same.
And could you add an egg so blue?
For blue is the color of a cloudless sky,
And when I see the geese flying over me...
I know that it is a sign from them way up high.
And we cannot forget a yellow egg too...
For yellow is the color of the rising sun,
And my twins love
will forever shine down onto me...
For all my days and nights to come.
And we also need a rainbow colored egg...
For the rainbow way up high in the sky,
For I hope that they will both always live within me...
And their spirit never dies.
And last but not least a red egg if you could?
For we all know that red means the color of love,
And I love colten and his brother, oh so much...
So please send them mommys' love
From me to them up there above.
Thank you Mr Easter Bunny...
I really appreciate your time today...
And I will say a prayer for you, too
As you hop to Heaven for me on Easter day.
When you take their basket up to the Heavens...
Can you please whisper in their ear?
And wish them the happiest Easter From me...
For I miss them more with each passing year.
