Shining brightly in the nightly sky

Ever visible to the earthen eye

You are nature’s own alarm

A beauty to behold, an ethereal charm!

I have seen you take so many forms

As if you were trying to inform

Empaths inside of us to be more aware

You are surely a friend to care.

Keeping company as I sleep

Patiently waiting for me to leap

Into my vast world of dreams 

Aren’t you quite supreme?

As I woke up you were gone

My eyes searched for the one that shone

I tell myself we will meet again

For we have a strong bond, that’s certain!
