The Dance Of Beauty

Dance in India is sacred, religious, and philosophical.

It is sacred because it is derived from the Vedas.

It is religious because you sing and dance in praise of Gods and Goddesses. 

It is philosophical too, as it teaches Dharma or righteousness and elevates you to a height of Satvikam or Aesthetic bliss.

When you dance, 

Dance not for your body alone, 

Dance for your sweet soul within.

Fingers curved like floral designs,

Sculptor's fancy angles,

Chiseled and polished,

Magnetic Mudras!

Enter into a relationship with God 

For a rapturous dialogue;

For the highest good of service,  

For the purest joy of love alone.
