Tales Of The Ocean
Tales Of The Ocean
Dearest Love,
I hope you are well.
I have moved on to a better world.
I hope you do too.
You move on with the wilderness around you.
Travel the world with the bucket of wisdom and sarcasm of yours, walk the crossroads of our forgotten memories and bridges of our dreams.
When you reach the end, exhausted of the loneliness, the heartbreaks and the heaviness of your chest, tired and out of breath, inhale me one last time, write our names on the shore and let me go.
I will melt in the sea touching gently your feet one last time.
Feel me once more as I will reminisce our promises of watching sunsets together at the Bay.
I will carve our time in the land of ruins and wash them down in the freezing ocean.
As you wander off into the woods to find strings to sew your broken heart and hibiscuses for your sore chest, I will dive into the depth of the seabed to free my soul.
The tears and pain you have given, I will treasure them in a hidden coffer.
Come back here, years after, I will wait for you,
I won't lose you this time as I will slowly engulf you in my vastness.
Darling,
The ocean is far away from here, from the shoreline.
I will show you my coffer of pain and misery, you can show me your healed heart.
I will tell you the tales of the ocean, its lost loves and unhappy souls.
I will show you the hollowness of it, trying to fill with love, it constantly observes with its far sight, lovers holding hands, children playing around, dogs chasing tails, and brokenness of the weaker masses.
As we will travel through the eternity of the sea, I will remind you of why you fell for me in the first place.
