Storm
Storm
The moisture is so thick in the air,
I wonder if I can taste it in the atmosphere.
The sky is dark with the clouds,
Even the sun is afraid of coming out.
The cold wind comes and goes,
Taking away all my woes.
Life feels so warm even in this cold,
I think it is raining liquid gold.
The elixir is dripping from Heaven,
Whispering in my ear the very secret of our existence.
The trees seem to be dancing in the breeze,
Certainly enjoying themselves with great ease.
The thunder is rumbling and then the lightning strikes,
Making the mankind jump with fright.
The mariners are scared of the sea,
In times like these, the roaring waves run free.
Even in the safety of my home and with the coffee in my hand,
The sound of this storm creates a mayhem.
I am terrified of how the people outside survive,
Not only the harshness of weather but also the cruelty of life.
