Sonnet of Demise

Standing in the middle,
Losing myself in the riddle,
Wondering daydream or nightmare,
Freezing due to people's stare —

Know not is it sympathy,
Or mere a stare of apathy;
Sensing the coldness of wet ground,
As no human is trustworthy around…

Feeling strongly the loss of friendship,
Having only the alliance of a lonely fellowship;
The love and trust has become a luxurious fantasy,
While dreams are just the deceitful ecstasy…

Can see a bleak light beyond the echoing ocean;
Might reach it if I survive through this deadly season.
