Somber Melody
Somber Melody

In shadows deep, where sorrow lies,
A mournful tale, I now devise.
A poem born from a heart forlorn,
With words that weep and emotions are torn.
A sombre melody fills the air,
As sadness dances with despair.
In each verse, a tear stains the page,
A symphony of anguish, a poet's wage.
In whispered echoes, pain resounds,
Aching hearts, where hope rebounds.
The weight of sorrow, heavy and vast,
Beneath a sky of grey that seems to last.
Like raindrops falling from the sky,
My words descend, and as tears, I cry.
Through poetry's em
brace, I find release,
In verses woven with sorrow's crease.
With each line penned, a sigh escapes,
Carving wounds that time won't efface.
Yet in this darkness, a flicker burns,
A tiny flame, though dim, it yearns.
For sadness, too, shall find its end,
And in its wake, a strength to mend.
Though tears may flow, and hearts may ache,
A glimmer of hope, we'll still partake.
So let this poem be a bittersweet ode,
To sadness that lingers on life's road.
For even in sorrow, beauty lies,
A reminder that we're human, through joys and sighs.
