If I Were A Genie!

If I were a genie!

I would reverse the time,

Make humans visit 

Millions of days backwards ,

Where the days of the law were in line,

Where peace, love, and purity 

Were the characteristics angelic and prime 

Every soul  much exalted,

And soothing was even the May sunshine.

The darkness was beyond stars 

Even the dawn was bright and light

The cheer on faces, the glare in eyes

Were the real chords connecting humans hearts

With the environmental site.

If I were a genie!

I would take all the pains away,

From  live bodies, with souls dead

Of my world today,

Add spiritual fervor everywhere, 

Serving the God; then

Every jaded life on the earth would 

Clinch in passion,

The newness would surpass love and compassion

Their conviction then, nothing could sway.

If I were a genie!

I would visit the world inch by inch,

Pull out the venom of vengeance from 

Deeper layers of confused minds

Made them brood their neurons

Pump freshness to cells to become awake

Rejuvenate their power with a pinch,

Make them to clean and purify their souls 

Unethical ways, they would not flinch.

If I were a genie!

I would move in every human mind,

Close all the doors of conflict and controversies

Make them love mankind;

Make the buds bloom into blossoms and

Change the society that has become blind,

Respect each other's interest majorly

And create causes mutually aligned.

If I were a genie!

I would fill the hearts all around with child's purity,

Sharing every bit with pleasure

Spreading smiles, innocence, and sincerity;

If I were a genie! if I were a genie!

I would wipe out  the hate, vengeance , bring serenity,

Finding  joy not in materials

But in complete solidarity……..
