If I Were A Genie!

If I were a genie!

I would reverse the time,

Make humans visit the former

And the later days of the law, in line,

Where peace, love, and purity were

The characteristics angelic and prime,

Every soul was exalted

So soothing was, even the May sunshine.

If I were a genie!

I would take all the pains away,

From the lives of society,

Would add fervor everywhere on my way,

Then every jaded life on the earth

Wold hug each other in a passionate way,

I would help them surpass love and compassion

Then their conviction, nothing could sway.

If I were a genie!

I would visit the world inch by inch,

Pull out the venom of vengeance from the minds

Reverse their thinking, the processes they clinch;

Make their body cells wake up and

Rejuvenate their power with a pinch,

Make them clean and purify their souls and stay away

From the unethical ways, they don't want to flinch.

If I were a genie!

I would move in every human mind,

Close all the doors of conflict and controversies

Make them love mankind;

Make the buds bloom into blossoms and

Change the society that has become blind,

Respect each other's interest majorly

And create causes mutually aligned.

If I were a genie!

I would fill the hearts all around with child's purity,

Sharing every bit with pleasure

Spreading smiles, innocence, and sincerity;

If I were a genie! if I were a genie!

I would wipe out  the hate, vengeance , bring serenity,

Finding  joy not in materials

But in complete solidarity……..
