DEBABRATA DAS

Abstract

My Daydream

My Daydream

1 min 247 1 min 247

Have you ever daydreamed?

Ignoring the hustles & bustles of the city

Have you ever found seclusion?

Where you can make a conclusion

A conclusion of your life!

Your life is precious.

You spend it in your own way

But my friend! Have you ever thought of it?

Have you ever planned it?

Yes! You have planned your life.

To gather wealth & to earn money

To become a millionaire

To become a tycoon.

Have you ever seen the pale little faces

Of unfed children?

Have you ever seen the grim lives

Of the homeless?

Have you ever thought of the pain

Of the orphans?

Have you ever planned to share their pain?

The pain of hunger, the plight of homelessness?

Have you ever thought of helping the helpless?

Have you ever wished to share their pain?

You may find my words emotional

Yes! My friend! I am emotional.

When I see the plight of the helpless

I cry in my mind

I cry for my inability to help them

I pray to God for giving me strength

To be with them

To share their pain

To give them joy

To give them peace

To give them courage

To give them all my happiness

My friend! I know you will tell me

It’s my daydream!!!

Yes! I daydream all the time.

It’s my earnest plea

The time you spare

In this dream, we can share

Lots of differences it can make

Let us take a pledge

To share this dream among all

God will bless us all

For saving humanity

For saving grace.
