Where Is Heaven On Earth?

Where is heaven on earth?

It’s in the lap of the one who gave you birth!

 

You don’t believe me?

Then read ahead and see!

 

We know her by MOM’S name.

But when we grow up we find her lame!

 

Since early morning till late night

She is always smiling and face shining bright!

 

We’ve never seen her complaining,

Though there are times when her tears are raining.

 

We don’t bother much about her 

But her feelings for us never stir.

 

Always loving, caring and worried about us,

But, in that also we have to make a fuss.

 

 

She nurtured you with her blood and bone, 

But you forget her easily and leave her alone!!!

 

Have you ever sat beside her to talk?

Or you’ve forgotten that she only taught you to walk.

 

Have you ever said, “I love you, MOTHER.”?

Have you realized that there is no one like her!

 

She will be happy if you say so, 

Do say at times at least when you find her low!

 

She has done so much for us, for which we can’t even repay!

But we can at least appreciate her by a small gift and not say.

 

Moms are moms, they will never change 

And we can’t calculate their LOVE RANGE!!

 

If someone ever asks me, “Where is heaven on the earth?”

My only answer will be, “My mother’s lap, who gave me birth!”
