I Wish I could Move That Cloud
I Wish I could Move That Cloud
I wish I could move that cloud,
Of fear, despair, darkness in the crowd.
I wish I could hold to the rope
Of happiness, joy and hope.
The differences between us, will they ever vanish?
Caste, creed, nationality would these banish?
Wish there were no boundaries to stop,
No one would fight over a water drop!
I wish I could move that cloud,
Of fear, despair, darkness in the crowd.
I wish, there was peace everywhere,
People could learn to love and care.
Life is too short to live,
Yet, people need to learn to give!
I wish I could move that cloud,
Of fear, despair, darkness in the crowd.
The cloud is nothing but the ‘EGO’
Not letting the ‘Sun’ of hope to ‘Glow’
It leads to fear, suspicion and doubt
I wish I could move that cloud.
Every cloud has a silver lining
Behind it, the Sun is still shining,
After dark night comes the day bright,
Don’t let ego and suspicion blur your sight,
Don’t let the seed of fear to grow,
This is the time to let your ego ‘GO’
There is always a ray of hope,
I wish I could hold to that rope.
