Voice notes I never sent to you

Ten years later,

if you won't recognize

my face right away,

I will comfort my heart

thinking,

we were once a part of

the same reality,

actors of a fleeting love

story,

And no matter if neither

one of us acknowledges

we are the residents of the

same universe,

breathing the same air

that once we drew in-

with a taste of each

 other,

All this time working

silently to rectify,

ugly parts of us that

 grew us apart,

and that I hope would

be enough to move on
