The Abyss of Life

She fell into an abyss,

Her mind planned to stay there,

She had had enough.

" I can't take a step yet my mind races,

 Running through regrets,

Touring through inhumane dark places "

She felt that the only way left,

Was to stay away.

Anxiety and depression had guided her,

To the gloomy and deserted corners 

Of the labyrinth of life.

She had to stay away!

But as she fell deeper,

Her little heart longed to be out!

She didn't realise until now,

All she needed was some help,

So she could claw her way out.
