Solitude
Solitude

Ask someone who’s all alone,
Smiles he however, when it’s time to mourn
A brave heart is what it took to stand firm
To keep himself safe from storm
The seeds of friendship were also sown
Yet he had none he would call his own
Left behind by everyone,
Though he shone selflessly like the shining sun.
In times of the need they hurriedly came
On other days they judged him to be 'lame'.
Hardly anyone understood his feeling
He felt so lonely when everyone used to sing.
He wanted someone who could give him a listening ear,
Wonder what caused others to feel the fear.
;
No one offered a shoulder to lean
Despite his heart being pure and clean
He chose a corner to cry,
His tear glands were now all rough and dry
Realising the truth of this so called life
He was ready to live this struggle and strife
Solitude now became his friend and guide
Nature was there for him to confide
Learnt the lessons of life the harder way
The vagabond now is happy and gay..
Having embarrassed solitude in all it beautiful form
His self love is what keeps him happy n warm
Such is the effect of solitude on man
Might n strong he emerges to stand!!!
