The Sights

The Sights

The moon, the meadows, the starry nights,

The rain, the breeze, the pretty sights.

Cautious are her steps in the faint twilight,

Even as the sky lights up with bright sunlight.

Surprising, enchanting are many sites,

The flora, the fauna, even the parasites!

Unknown, unrecognised are many delights,

But there's more than Nature that excites.

The world we built for ourselves is quiet,

A grand recreation of our collective might.

Unparalleled, exquisite to the eyesight,

Buildings that seem to touch the sky alright.

She stands in awe of the world so wide,

That seems to encompass every side.

As the sky darkens, it glows with a light,

That's brighter than the brightest starlight.

She wishes she could forever gaze at the sights
