Sky, Why Do You Cry?
Sky, Why Do You Cry?
What ails you sky,
That you cry?
I hear a sigh,
From up high.
You burnt your pie,
Or your shirt isn’t dry,
Did mother catch your lie,
Why do you cry?
Spilt your hair dye,
Or tore the bow tie,
Troubled by a housefly,
What makes you cry?
Did you miss the best buy,
Got poked by cacti,
Or your ice cream did liquify,
Why do you cry?
Tell me why you cry,
I will try to rectify,
For this weepy eye,
Doesn’t suit you sky.
