I Wish

Every time I look at your photo frame I wish you would talk

Holding your ashes in my arms, my heart wished you could walk

The melancholy of emotions inside has created a huge void

The more I think of you and your memories the more I avoid

And while the tears pave their way out making my eyes sore

It's difficult to imagine a mother that you aren't there anymore

I still remember that last kiss on your forehead when I bid you goodbye

And while wiping your face I could see a small drop of tear waiting to cry

The last call you made when you asked me not to worry 

The pounding of my heartbeat in the car shouting at my driver to hurry

I wish I could go back in time and reach ten minutes before

I wish I could give everything to have that one option called Restore

I wish I could tell you how much I loved you one more time

I wish you would wake me up in the morning and say everything is fine...
