Silent Night's

Silent Night's

Silence is golden, this is what they say right?

But is it always golden and always light?

Ever felt the heaviness and pain of your own thoughts,

So let's leave this golden silence aside.

Some may see it as white,

While I see it as black.

The dark memories of my past clinging around my back,

At that moment I realized,

I had lost myself,

Lost myself in the place,

About which I have always been afraid,

I try to act how I don't feel,

Digging in my thoughts while the world is asleep.

On these silent nights,

I missed myself a little longer,

And a little louder,

Hoping to disappear for a while.

Cause I have been numb and even crying doesn't do me right,

My heart can't take this anymore,

I don't want to feel like this furthermore.

Laying still, the white pillow absorbing my cries,

While some color the pillow in orange, red and bright,

I spilled some black and white.

People say its a bad day and not a bad life,

But why does every day seems like those silent nights?

And thus, I silently try to cry my heart out every night.

While the world sleeps,

To feel alive.
