Hardships And Growth

I look back at the year, 

And realize how much I have grown and learned from my fears.

From having my share of ups and downs,

And having months full of sad and depressing songs.

The year was harsh, 

On you and me and everyone living apart.

But we survived it.

No matter how things hit hard.

Just like that, we learn, 

We learn to grow,

We learn to develop,

We learn to move forward in life.

Overcoming the obstacles and reaching towards greater heights.

 

I tell myself now, 

It's okay if people left you,

It's okay if darkness surrounded you,

It's okay if you broke down, 

It's okay if you cried,

In the end, you are just a human, 

And you are allowed to express your basic emotions and cries.

 

I am stronger now and more determined.

The willpower to change my life for good is the only thing running in my mind.

The year 2021 was a fusion of good and bad.

Although with less good and more bad.

But everything teaches us something, 

And this is what prepared me for the next chapter of my life.
