The School Days....

The School Days....

132

I miss those days,

When I used to ran through the corridors of the school,

I miss the days,

When our mistakes were meant to be the start of something great.

When we were scolded yet it was so affectionate.

I miss the days when we did not care,

Either about the world or about the grades.

That nervousness to stand in front of the class,

To speak the wrong answer with full courage,

From hearing the first bell ring to finishing our lunch boxes in that first hour.

The days when we ran out to play in the scorching sun,

And did not care about the sweat and only wanted fun.

Those days when we were stress-free,

When we knew what joy felt.

Now, all we have are threads of memories,

That we weave into a childhood dream.
