Silence Was Quotidian To All

Silence Was Quotidian To All

A queer dusk,

And the morning rose calm and beautiful,

I was half clad,

And was admiring the beauty of the nature,

The wind gently kissed the tree,

The sun was bright unlike before,

But, suddenly I saw flashes,

Then another, I was aghast to see,

Meanwhile, the roof of the house crumbled

Seemed as if the whole world turned into debris,

It was weird to see,

An unknown object hit me,

It penetrated my biceps,

I was totally exhausted,

And I remembered my wife,

I called where are you,

I was scared,

Bloodstained and frightened she emerged

holding her hand and our baby, we will be fine I said,

stumbling hard, in mere distress we stood on a road,

Thirst seized me, my breath got short,

I was panting,

Holding the baby my wife sat at a corner,

Everyone was marching towards the hospital,

Everyone's body was torn,

It was painful to walk,

And flesh rubbing against flesh made more tough for all,

It was high time for us,

A gate fell on me,

Taking my last breath I told we the couples are the ropes, and our baby is the knot,

How tight we tie it upon us,

Just remember the stronger we make our knot now,

The harder it becomes to untie,

Pray for our knot,

So that she can survive.

Pray for our angel to be alive.
