Words Would Be Less

Emotions they behold,

Every day new tactics they use,

Far away from their near and dear ones,

Stake their life for the sake of us,

How they live and what they eat is not known,

With zeal, they move on,

We sleep in a cozy bed and they stand at the border,

We complain about many things but what about them,

They sacrifice for what we are here,

Hats off to them,

They starve where we eat ample of time,

Mother's don't even get a chance to see their only son's dead body,

What about their wife,

The sacrifice they make is priceless,

After they die they are not even remembered,

None of the people, so call great people don't even come to their funeral,

If a politician die thousand of people smirk around,

State honor they get with Country flag on their body and marched the body towards the graveyard,

Thousands of people fight to see the dead body,

The reality is not known to me,

When a soldier is hit by a bullet they succumb to their injury,

Noone to care,

The pain and suffering they go through is immense,

Where we take remedies even when we get a small cut

They live in jungles and sometime's surrounded by snow,

The sacrifice they make can't be expressed in words,

A great salute to the Indian soldiers,

From the depth of my heart,

I am ready to give my helping hands when in need,
