She Wears A Cloak

She Wears A Cloak

She broke out and met the eye of the storm

Would they get mislaid in the place she comes from?

She grabbed the sword, her hands were shaking

The time was high, she escaped the chasing.

Flashbacks tell us a story of the arch-enemies

The chasers traced the bloodstains and they walked on the path of vanity

They found a place where they could hear the desperate screams of insanity

She wears a cloak, she's an escaper.

The headlines screaming out her name

The wine and dine raised her to fame.

She is the face of the trending scandals

The curse the witches chant while they lit up the candles.

She was walking on a tightrope and she lost her balance

She took the wrong step to make the story make some sense.

The skeptics use her name to rhyme it with bad influence

She had the time of her life being an acclaimed nuisance.

The hunt

ers found the cloak, she was caught

The cameras flash on her face every time she goes out

How will she manage the twist in the plot?

They say that she's a traitor, she's a pretender

Was she wrong or was she just loud?

Was she wrong or was she just a subtle savior?

She was an occultist who saved us from a disguised priest

She was mistaken for being a phantom who killed the exorcist.

She was a vigilante who tried to end the stories with justice

She was mistaken for the villain who gets defeated when the fiction ceases.

She grabbed the sword, the time was high

She surrendered with a helpless sigh.

She dropped the sword, she was on her knees

The uproar tones down, was she exposed or is she free?

She did not justify herself.

All she did was surrender.

She wears a cloak.

She is an escaper.
