In the summer break , we sit by the lake

We laughed each time we thought we'll get scared 

A note in the flower is all it takes 

I could never send them as I never dared 

I'll say I'm in love but it is not enough to just hope from a place that you could never find 

You'll feel you're betrayed as I was scared that the chapter might end if I speak my mind 

The more u hold someone back the more you'll lose. 

The yearning never dies , it's hidden in the lies 

We saw right through each other but we never reached there 

I lost the count of days , time really flies 

We can get lost in the daydreams we made when reality glares 

I missed the last train and I draw hearts on the glass when it rains hoping you will wait 

Can the songs and the passed down tales tie the long lost fate ? 

I sigh in relief , the girl lost u I believe 

I got my hopes up again when I heard the news 

U call me up tonight , you say you don't feel right

I'll take the next bus just to be with you 

You look at me like you want me to see everything that you've been going through 

You held my hand and made the promises that I drew on the sand with you

I smelt the rose and handed you the note 

You smiled like you knew that it was always you.
