Serenity

Going on the roads,

After the second shift,

I looked around me,

The roads are almost empty,

Nightshift security are chit-chatting,

There is the aroma of leftover biryani from hotels,

Street lights are romancing with wind,

There is rainwater on leaves,

I went under the tree,

Pulled the leaves aside,

It threw water droplets on me,

I jumped like a child,

How beautiful is nature,

Even in concrete jungles,

I can feel the magic,

And I thanked serenity of it.
