Reflections
Reflections
Stars stood like precious pearls in the midnight sky
Her eyes shone with mysteries hidden inside
Graceful beauty, serenely cherished
Swan like elegance, within poise and personality
Keen eyes watch, some smile in amusement
Others glare in a foul distaste of envy
They simply haven’t gotten what it takes
To appreciate real beauty
Our mistakes bounce back to ruin us
Echoes of our rights and wrongs haunt us
All they wanted was some respect
And a place in this world to live in freedom
Tsunamis and earthquakes lash out on us
Indefinable anger and curses attack, destroying everything
All this time they’ve been so tolerant with everything
But one last straw broke all they’ve held in them
Women and nature are two very beautiful things,
They bear all their pains and burdens within
Tearing them apart like our possessions is a disgrace
Without them our life would be a miserable painting
